BBC Royal Commentator Nicholas Witchell Discloses: Meghan Markle Should Have Remained More Tolerant and Thoughtful With Royal Aides and Asserts the Duchess’ Decision to Depart the UK Was Not Due to Royal Racism

BBC Royal commentator Nicholas Witchell reveals that Meghan Markle should have tried harder to be more patient and kind to royal aides who “bent over backward” to help her.

Meghan Should Have Been More Appreciative

He also says the royal family could have tried harder to prevent Harry and Meghan from leaving. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were continuously looking for a way out.

    Witchell explains,

“Meghan is clearly a very intelligent, articulate, ambitious woman, and you would have thought she would have appreciated the fact that these people were working so hard to make it work.”

He also says that race was not a factor involved in the real reason why Meghan wanted to leave her life as a working royal.

Witchell says that Harry and Meghan Markle are lying about the palace being against them. He praises the palace aides for their persistence in supporting the royal couple, even when it was hopeless.

Witchell is a very well-respected journalist and knows what he’s talking about. He came so close to interviewing Princess Diana for Panorama.

The interview ended up going to another journalist named Martin Bashir.  This situation led to an explosive scandal over the deceptive manner in which Bashir was able to get the interview.

Nicholas also admits that King Charles, when he was Prince Charles, didn’t like him very much. He was hired to ask Charles questions about his upcoming wedding to Camilla, and Charles wasn’t happy about it.

Meghan Markle Was Not Prepared to Navigate the Royal Institution

The royal expert also says that Harry and Meghan’s departure was a significant forfeiture to the royal family, creating a hole that Prince William and Kate Middleton needed to fill.

The journalist has nothing but good things to say about William and Kate, who keep their head down and do what needs to be done to serve the Commonwealth.

The Prince and Princess of Wales focus on several admirable and worthy causes, such as homelessness, mental health, and the environment.

    He also claims that.

“If Meghan had perhaps been less impatient, less inclined to see well-meaning people as being in some way against her. It’s sad, particularly the relationship between Harry and William.”

The aides apparently worked very hard to keep Meghan happy, but it didn’t matter in the end. He explains that her decision to leave was not due to royal racism; the difference in culture and nationality clashed with the royal institution’s beliefs and ideals.

The Royals Were Not Persistent to Have the Couple Stay

At the same time, the palace could have also tried to prevent the Duke from leaving. Harry is clearly in a lot of pain, and a lot of it has to do with what happened to his late mum, Princess Diana.

Witchell knows that living a royal life can be like a soap opera.  It can be very taxing on those who are either unprepared for it or ill-equipped to handle it.

Nicholas said he believes Harry and Meghan Markle have been overly sensitive about the press. They are public figures who should know how to conduct themselves.
