In many ways, soap operas are morality tales as there are so few actually good people in the stories taking revenge on each other, and ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are looking forward to seeing how EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) handles his latest batch of karma.

To be fair, everyone takes their turn at the karma wheel, and EJ is as deserving as anyone else depending on what’s currently happening, and now he’s going to have to deal with losing his son.

This is a harsh one, and it feels needlessly cruel to him and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), and even Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) thinks that.

But she allowed herself to be talking into it by Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and that’s going to be her undoing.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: EJ deserves it

We’re sure if anything thinks EJ deserves what he’s about to go through when news his son “died” reaches him is Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish).

Given how EJ is the first one to go to the extreme in revenge, such as hiring a hitman to kill Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) a year after his mother’s presumed death and then relishing going after Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) for allegedly murdering Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), he’s earned his spot.

How Stefan reacts will be interesting as ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers can see him comforting EJ since he’s not heartless, and that could lead to EJ either lashing out at him in response or freeing Gabi.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers think he could hold EJ’s feet to the fire as he’ll now know what it’s like losing someone.

The issue with the latter is EJ may press that point home by having Gabi killed since there’s been no news of the character being recast yet.

That would send EJ down an irredeemable rabbit hole that’ll set up a good character arc and twist for the future.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Self destruction

While Nicole will be destroyed, she’ll have Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) to rely on if EJ’s in the process of losing his mind, which will put Sloan in an even worse position since Nicole will probably remember what her baby looks like.

During this time, EJ would be losing him mind and pushing harder and harder to punish those responsible, and it could force Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) to fire him like Stefan wanted.

To that, we’re sure Stefan will have a few things to say and could begin making his own power moves to get Gabi free, which could push EJ into having her killed out of spite.

How do you think EJ will react? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
