‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are ready for just about anything to happen in Salem and we’re rarely disappointed, but now it looks like one of our favorites have been placed in a no win situation.

On the October 6 episode, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) left Salem to claim her husband’s money since Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) will most likely be going to prison for the foreseeable future.

It was a cool way to write her off with a little quip how Salem hasn’t seen the last of her (without mentioning her name), and she walked off to board her plane.

As soon as she turned left, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) came in from the right side and called out to Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) to hurry it up.

The actress switch wasn’t a surprise as it was announced a while back, but it could put Emily into a precarious position.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Not a clean break

There’s been plenty of controversy surrounding the show swapping Jen Lilley out after she came to the show runners about coming back for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s funeral.

She talked about how the part grew, but when she discovered she didn’t have the full amount of her scenes she was told they were giving her part to someone else after she was done with what she had.

It’s been rumored that this was the recently fired Albert Alarr’s decision.

Albert was ousted following a misconduct investigation on how he allegedly made inappropriate and offensive comments, bullied, intimidated, groped female cast members, and forcibly kissing an actress without her consent.

Whether it was his decision or not, removing the actress that brought you the idea for what appears to be budgetary reasons officially won’t do Emily any favors.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Good start

Still, ‘Days of Our Lives’ look forward to seeing her in the role and she impressed us with her brief appearance in this episode without her English accent.

Speaking without a native accent is never easy, but so far she’ll pulled it off and the blonde wig looks good on her.

Of course, no matter how good she is, there will always be some that point to Jen’s ouster from the role. We’re not fans of that decision, but it’s done and we hope Emily will be able to make the best out of this as Theresa’s going to be at the heart of some chaos.

    Of that, we’re sure of.

What did you think of the new Theresa’s entrance and switch overall? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
