On September 7th, on the anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, will be visiting the UK. He is going to speak at an event for the WellChild charitable foundation.
Prince Harry will also be there in time for the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
This visit comes much to the dismay of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton, who are irritated by the notion that Prince Harry will be visiting the UK.
They fear an “outburst” or incident from Harry is imminent. Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, will not be coming with him.
Meghan Refuses to Curtsy for the Royals
It has been rumored that Meghan will not “curtsy” for Princess Kate. The scoop is that during Meghan and Harry’s Netflix series, Meghan said that she “doesn’t know how to curtsy.”
Right after that, Kate’s picture-perfect curtsy went viral. Meghan thought it was a jab against her. This show of perfection caused quite the controversy between Meghan and Kate.
The animosity between the two women is palpable. Rumors were spread that Meghan wouldn’t even curtsy for the Queen, so that she wouldn’t curtsy for Kate. However, Meghan did attempt a curtsy and had difficulty doing so, but the curtsy was caught on video.
The whole act of curtsying is to pay respect to the King and Queen. Kate is in line to become Queen, a title that Meghan will never have. Once the Queen died, William and Kate became next in line.
Meghan feels that Kate got away with treating her poorly when she was part of the royals. This poor treatment is why Harry does not want to see his older brother or wife when he visits the UK. Harry also has no plans on seeing his father.
It was all over the media when Kate and the Royal Family were relieved that Meghan decided not to attend the king’s coronation in May of this year.
Meghan Encourages Negative Attention
William and Kate did not want the coronation to become about her (Meghan Markle). Meghan attending the event would have focused the media on her and Harry.
There is much media interest in Harry and Meghan‘s broken relationship with the Royal Family. Meghan tends to draw a lot of negative attention, whether intended or not.
Known to the royals as a major drama queen, Meghan knows she is an outsider and doesn’t want to face the royals. She has often said that she may never come to the UK again.
The Royal Family has also been disgraced by Harry’s tell-all book, “Spare.” The book contains a plethora of revelations and allegations against the Royal Family.
According to Harry, Kate feels like she needs to compete with Meghan. He also says that Kate has been guilty of bringing Meghan to tears.
There is a lot of tension involved in the situation. Since Meghan will not be coming with Harry to Britain, she is flying directly to Germany for the Invictus Games.
The Invictus Games is an intercontinental multi-sport event for sick or injured veterans, including men and women. Meghan will wait for Harry to join her in Germany.
It is safe to say that Harry and Meghan do not want to face the royals after the explosive tell-all book was published—just more excitement from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
