‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicates that Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) already difficult task of talking to his son about his diagnosis has just gotten more difficult.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has just moved in with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Will Gregory be able to get Harrison alone or will he be able to break the news to both of them?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Some Difficult News
Gregory has been diagnosed with ALS. This degenerative disease is very difficult to handle. It will mean that he begin to lose control of over more of his body over time. Eventually he will not be able to control any of his muscles. It is an excruciating way to spend the last days of one’s life.
Gregory kept the diagnosis to himself for quite a while. But then when he was with his granddaughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love), he fell. He realizes that things are much more precarious, and he needs to let his family in on what he is facing. Gregory does admit his situation to his son Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
He knows that it is time to share the news with his son Chase but is very concerned with how Chase will take the news. Gregory does not believe it will be easy news for Chase to hear or accept. He has been dreading the conversation but knows that it needs to happen.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Thwarted Plan
When Gregory heads to Chase’s apartment to talk with him, he finds that Chase has a new roommate. Brook Lynn Quartermaine has moved in with Chase. She has had enough of life with her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Tracy used her to get information on the Deceptor. Now Tracy has sued Deception for intellectual property infringement, using the information that Brook Lynn stole from Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Brook Lynn feels that Tracy has destroyed her life. Moving in with Chase will give her a break from Tracy. It will also give her a break from the situation with her father, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Ned has amnesia and believes that he is Eddie Maine. He doesn’t remember his family. That has also taken an emotional toll on Brook Lynn.
What will Gregory decide to do? Will he share this news with Chase and Brook Lynn? Or will he have to find a time to catch Chase on his own?
