‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) is celebrating her 34th birthday on August 15th. The fiery red-head is a popular character who has played characters on both ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and ‘The Young and the Restless.’
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Starting Her Career
Courtney Hope made her first onscreen debut in an interesting way. She filled a role in two video games. In the video game Quantum Break she played the character of Beth Wilder and in the game Control she played Jesse Fadden. She actually was nominated for an award for her role in the game Control.
Courtney started on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ in 2017. She was nominated for outstanding actress on that show in the role of Sally Spectra. Her character is the grandniece of the original Sally Spectra, played by Darlene Conley.
In ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’, Sally’s character revived many rivalries of the past. Like the original Sally Spectra who had trouble getting along with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) struggled with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Forrester) and had romantic liaisons with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Thomas Forrester (Pearson Dane Fodé).

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ released Courtney Hope in August 2020 and her last appearance was on August 5th. Then in October, she began to star in ‘The Young and the Restless.”
The drama and the rivalries continued in Genoa City. Courtney’s character has had clashes with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). She had romantic encounters with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
In the series now, Sally is looking for career direction. She may continue to design for Chancellor-Winters or she may take a job offer extended by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Sally continues to grieve the loss of her baby Ava. Sally and Adam lost their baby during childbirth.

Courtney Hope was possibly married to Chad Duell, from ‘General Hospital’, but a few months later they split. Over the past year she has gone on vacation with her partner from the show, Mark Grossman, but there is no indication that they are currently linked romantically.
