‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is getting an emotional beating from all sides. Maybe he will need to figure out how to relax and take care of himself for a while.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) Lashes Out
Y&R’s Nick tells Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that she really needs to express her feelings. She needs to not keep them all inside, but just needs to release them. It will help her feel better. He offers to be her punching bag, if she needs to scream, cry, punch, hit and throw a fit. Maybe he doesn’t really know what he is offering to her.
She does start to vent and expresses her anger with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the doctors and the nurses. Sally also wonders if there is something that she could have done to save her daughter. She then goes into the fact that she was worried and anxious about what was going on that evening with Nick.
All she knew is that he was trying to protect his family from a mad man, and she was worried sick about him. Then she ended up with the contractions and the complications which led to the loss of her baby.
She wanted to know where Nick was and why he wasn’t there for her. Sally knows that he had a family to protect but feels that once again she was left alone to fend for herself.
Nick put Sally in Adam’s care, and in her opinion, Adam didn’t make the right decisions. Nick bears her attack and knows that all he can do at this point is say sorry and try to comfort her in her loss.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Newman Attacks
After the verbal assault by Sally, Nick also gets a helping of it from his brother Adam. Adam is furious because he believes Nick came out to be the hero. Nick saved his family from Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby).
As Nick was off saving the day, Adam ends up being the villain. He was put into the terrible position of having to decide who the doctors should save if it came down to it–Sally or the baby. He chose Sally and now she hates him for it.
This bashing by both Sally and Adam seems to weigh heavily on Nick. He is trying to manage it the best he can. What impact do you think it will have on him personally?
