‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicates that it is very hard to tell if Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will be willing to forgive Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). She is asking him to, but he does not feel that he knows his wife anymore. He is not sure he is willing to give her another chance.
‘The Bold the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Betrayed
B&B’s Liam is really upset and hurt because he witnessed his wife’s betrayal. He decided he would go to Rome to watch the fashion preview. Liam was going to surprise her.
He missed the preview event because he was not able to get a flight in time. In fact, there were no commercial flights at all, but his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), escorted him on his private jet.
When he got to Rome everything had finished. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) suggested that Hope might be sight-seeing, so he went to look for her. He found her finally at the Colosseum.
He saw that she was standing there, talking to Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson). But as he watched, she grabbed at Thomas and passionately kissed him on the mouth. They kissed for a while, and Liam left in shock and disbelief.
He flew home on a commercial flight after venting to Steffy. Liam even kissed Steffy on the mouth in the midst of his distress. Doesn’t it seem a little two-faced that he is giving Hope a bad time for kissing Thomas when he kissed his ex?
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: No Explanation
Hope can’t really explain herself. Liam doesn’t make it safe or comfortable to share her experiences with him either. She is being attacked and condemned, so she doesn’t feel she can really be vulnerable with him. All she can say is that she is sorry and that she doesn’t understand herself.
It would be better if Liam could stop shouting and could start asking questions to see if he can help his wife through this. It is obvious that he is still so focused on himself and his hurt and he doesn’t want to understand. He just knows that he has been wronged and someone needs to pay.
If he would carefully listen and work with Hope to help her decide on good boundaries, they could move forward. Maybe they could even seek professional help to save their marriage. Instead, it’s all about him and his pain.
