‘The Masked Singer‘ spoilers reveal ‘80s night left a little bit to be desired. However, it looks like the show will come back strong with Movie Night. Let’s talk about what happened and what’s ahead. We’ll also break down what we see for tonight’s results and talk a couple of favorites. Here’s what you need to know.

‘The Masked Singer’ Spoilers: About last time…

First, The Masked Singer spoilers reveal we both loved and hated ‘80’s night. As an ‘80s kid, this writer loved the song choices. While there are so many amazing picks to choose from, you really couldn’t argue with the performers’ picks.

“Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds, “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cyndi Lauper, and “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News are iconic sounds, and two of those came from some of the most loved movies of the decade. The problem here was, the talent just wasn’t up to par with other episodes/seasons.

Honestly, if the previous winners weren’t out of the picture while we wait for the semi-finals, we don’t think any of these performers would have had a shot at the win.

Ultimately, Doll won the night, and we can’t really argue with the result, as they were, in our opinion, the best of what we see as the weakest batch of the season. There was a highlight, though.

The first one to go was Moose. And we loved seeing it was George Wendt behind that mask. Cheers is a favorite of the ‘80s, and Norm was one of the more memorable characters.

And judging by how everyone yelled, “Norm!” when he was unmasked, we’d saw the panel and others agreed! As for Scorpio, made it to the battle, but ultimately lost out. She was revealed to be TV personality Christine Quinn.

‘The Masked Singer’ Spoilers: Who’s next?

So, what’s next? Tonight, they’ll be celebrating movies! Doll will return to face off against Dandelion and Mantis. The official YouTube has a video of Dandelion performing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

We think that song needs no introduction or clarification! It’s a classic that we are glad wasn’t overlooked on Movie Night. And judging by what we heard, we think she’s a strong contender for knocking Doll out of the running.

As for the rest, they haven’t given us a taste of what Mantis can do yet. We believe, however, Mantis or Doll will be at risk for elimination and one is likely to be saved. The promo teases, “a mysterious ending steals the show.” So, we think the “Ding Dong, keep it on” bell will be sounding tonight.

‘The Masked Singer’ Spoilers: Our picks

Finally, we are getting closer and closer to picking a champ. And we do believe all the winners and saves so far are good enough to take it. However, Macaw is a personal favorite at this point, closely followed by Medusa. We’ll see who does end up making it to the finale!
