Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) Spoilers: Fraudster Jen Shah Speaks Out From Jail-‘Why Am I Here?’
On the second day of her six-and-a-half-year sentence, the celebrity who turned herself in to Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, on February 17th, shared her thoughts about it. In her comments, she said: “As I stare into the dark, I think this has to be a dream — but here I am.
“I keep thinking this is insane, completely ridiculous. Why am I here? I mean, I know why I’m here, but this just feels like someone like me doesn’t belong here. I’ve never been in trouble before.”
The attorney, Priya Chaudhry, of the reality TV personality had expressed optimism about her client’s future before she went to jail. However, it appears that the reality of the situation has now sunk in. Chaudhry had previously said that Jen was ready to confront the obstacles and develop into a stronger individual as a result of the experience.
Chaudhry emphasized that her client is determined to serve her sentence with bravery and intention, motivated by her wish to make up for the harm she has caused and support others in her fresh surroundings. And yet, this is going to be harder than first thought given the response on social media.
A certain subset of people made it clear that she had no one to blame but herself since she was being held accountable for her actions. One person wrote: “Never expresses any remorse. She preyed on the Elderly and vulnerable. She is the s**m of the Earth! Should have been given the max.”
