According to reports, the actress Amanda Bynes was seen walking with a fan in Hollywood shortly before she was put under psychiatric hold.
Amanda Bynes Was Walking With A TikToker Before Her Naked Breakdown
On Friday, March 17th 2023, a TikTok, @kaitlynhotfox, shared a video in which Amanda was seen holding onto the arm of the TikToker as they walked together.
Bynes appeared in the video wearing a black ensemble, with a hair bun positioned at the crown of her head. She accessorized the outfit with long nails and silver jewelry.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Happy shes [sic] getting the help she needs. she was sweet, gave her some money and talked. sometime ppl [sic] just sb [sic] to talk to.”
Bynes made an appearance in the video shortly before being placed on a psychiatric hold because she was found walking in Los Angeles without clothes.
As per a witness who spoke to TMZ, the former Nickelodeon celebrity, known to have bipolar disorder, stopped a car while being naked on Sunday, 19th March 2023.
She informed the driver that she was recovering from a psychotic episode. Bynes apparently dialed 911 on her own and was subsequently transported to a nearby police station.
A specialist in mental health evaluated her and concluded that she required hospitalization or admittance into a mental health institution for therapy.
Bynes’ former fiancé, Paul Michael, stated that the actress may have stopped taking her medication.
Almost a year after Bynes was released from her nine-year conservatorship, this incident took place.
The court found that her parents Rick and Lynn Bynes’ guardianship over her and her assets was no longer necessary.
According to her lawyer, David Esquibias, she was doing well after the removal of her conservatorship. But this latest episode would suggest otherwise.
And this was played out in the comments that followed on social media. Large numbers of people came out to express their concern and hoped that Amanda would be able to overcome this.
One person wrote: “Ugh my heart hurts for her. So many of us grew up watching her and she gave so much and I don’t think she had enough people protecting her.”
While another person stated: “I love Amanda Bynes with my whole heart and I am praying and rooting for her.”
