Was Meghan Markle forced to wear dull colors while she was around the royal family? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder as royal correspondent Omid Scobie has lashed out following a photo of the British Royal Family all wearing burgundy outfits. Here’s what you need to know.
The Daily Mail suggested in their latest paper that the “great burgundy royal parade” might have been a cheeky swipe at Meghan Markle. The Duchess of Sussex said in the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan that she never wore color during her time in the royal family because she didn’t want to upstage any of the more senior royals.

Well, Omid certainly didn’t take long to respond to the headline as he tweeted, “Seriously, what is this s***.”
Many of his followers commented with, “It’s exactly what they wanted it to be. Something to try and undermine Meghan and Harry’s story even after they have provided example after example that what they have said happened is clear as day,” along with, “What’s funny is that it’s the same Daily Mail that was acting as if W&K are happy family and are unbothered by H&M’s documentary when they put their photo with kids on front page days ago but now it turns out that their fave is obsessed with Meghan even at her own Xmas concert.”
Another critic wrote, “Your future queen has the maturity of a 13 year old mean girl, and the worst part is she dragged her CHILD into that petty, spiteful, ridiculous stunt. Who behaves like this? Even worse, most of the RF played along. Brits PAY these people to represent your country to the world.”
