In a rare public comment, Kylie Jenner has responded to accusations that posting pictures of her son were done to distract from the Balenciaga fashion controversy concerning her sister Kim Kardashian.
Kylie Jenner Slams Claims She Posted Pictures Of Her Son To Divert Attention From Kim Kardashian’s Balenciaga Fiasco
Fans were shocked to see Jenner post photos of her son after Kim’s connection to Balenciaga was questioned over their ad campaign with claims it had BDSM themes. But rather than refusing to cut ties out right, Kim made it clear that she would be re-evaluating her position moving forward.
The Kardashian has been working with the firm for a number of years, and she publicly reproached the firm days after an apology had been issued. And yet, Kylie’s following pictures drew criticism. In the pictures here, we can see Kylie sitting down on some grass as her son is with her.
His face has been moved away from the camera for anonymity, but Kylie’s big smile did not go down well. One user wrote the following: “Kris Jenner telling her kids to release the good photos after the Balenciaga scandal.”
This is exactly the same type of controversy Kylie received in the aftermath of the Astroworld scandal. Her lover Travis Scott had been criticised on the basis that there were not enough safety protocols in place which led to the reported death of 10 people and many others injured during a crowd crush.
And that is why it brought up similar feelings for the fan base. The user added: “I definitely understand that would be frustrating. Most of us just want more raw honesty from your family tho instead of silence like with Astroworld.”
In between that comment, Jenner did state that this was not an attempt to divert attention away from the Balenciaga scandal. However, the timing of it is questionable since she has been very private about her son, even so far as not to reveal his name publicly.
That is why she has been scrutinised for showing some images of her son. And yet, Kylie hit back. She stated: “Uh whyyyyyy would I post my child to cover up for Balenciaga? This is why I don’t do this, always something to say.”
