As we all know, the Balenciaga scandal has not made the Kar-Jenner clan look that great. In fact, a lot of people have come out and denounced Balenciaga over the past couple of days, some people on social media are going so far as to destroy their Balenciaga merchandise while others are just plain out disavowing the brand.
Kim Kardashian West finally addressed the controversy in an instagram post saying that she was re-evaluating her relationship with the brand based on their ability to take accountability for their actions.
…Which is not what the internet wanted to hear.
The internet wanted to hear that Kim KARDASHIAN was dropping Balenciaga and have her lambast the brand for all they were worth. You would think that her statement against them would have been stronger, since she is the Mother of four kids herself, but let’s face it, Kim has a contract with these people and she’s probably not going to say anything too harsh until that contract is up.

Give it a couple of years, we’ll her about it. Still, a user on tiktok released a video accusing the Kar-Jenner clan of posting “good” photos for clout in the wake of the scandal. “Kris Jenner telling her kids to release the good photos after the Balenciaga scandal” read the caption.
Rumor has it that Kris Jenner is the social engineer behind everything and that she is the reason that both Kim and Kylie released “good” photos on social media. Kim released her going to a men’s prison and having a Friendsgiving dinner and not to be outdone, Kylie posted some pictures of the newest addition to her family, her baby boy, whom she almost never posts.
Still, apparently she was trolling tiktok when she saw this user’s video and actually went as far as to comment on it saying, “uh whyyyyyy would I post my child to cover up for balenciaga? this is why I don’t do this. always something to say.”
The tiktok user actually went as far as to reply to Kylie in a video saying, “Kylie, be for real now, I don’t know what your Mom is actually coaching ya’ll to do. It was a joke, but yes, a joke made at the expense of your silence. But of all the times you choose to use your voice you don’t use it to call out Balenciaga’s glamorization of child porn, you use it to comment on my video.
Why? Because my video directly affected you. Unlike the victims who died in Astro World because you still haven’t spoken out about that, and that’s why people are mad at your family because of your silence and the half-assed statements that you guys put out that aren’t rooted in honesty but just sound like something nice to say.
You have influence in this world, Kylie, that few have. I don’t have that and yet I’m one of the creators that have spoken out about Astro World and about Balenciaga. Why? Because its the right thing to do, because I don’t need a publicist to sign off on my assertion about what’s right and what’s wrong.

Some people might argue that it’s not the Kar-Jenner clan’s job to speak for a multi-million dollar brand, because technically it isn’t their brand, but they have worked closely with them over the years and its surprising that they would have so little to say on the matter.
