King Charles III and Queen Camilla will carry on the tradition of attending the Morning Service on Christmas Day at Sandringham Church, Buckingham Palace announced. Here’s what you need to know.
The decision will mark the royals’ return to Sandringham over Christmas for the first time in three years following the pandemic and the queen’s flailing health, and will see Charles carry on the tradition of hosting members of the royal family for lunch, which will likely include the Wales family, the Wessex family and The Princess Royal. It is highly unlikely the Sussexes will attend following their exit from the firm, and fresh claims against Prince William and King Charles in their bombshell Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan.

Apparently, Charles has already recorded his Christmas broadcast – the queen made her first Christmas broadcast from Sandringham in 1952 – and intends to uphold the very same traditions, which, apart from a turkey lunch, also includes a visit to St Mary Magdalene Church and the greeting of well-wishers.
Meanwhile, it looks like Prince Harry is about to drop even more bombs on the royal family. One source close to the situation says that his book “includes claims about the monarchy that are more incendiary than those made in the Netflix series.”
The insider added, “There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood.…There is some content in there that should make his family nervous.”
Insiders have suggested that the Prince has made last minute revisions to the text, following the death of his grandmother the Queen, with whom he had a close relationship. In a statement, publishers say that: “SPARE takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror…For Harry, this is his story at last.”
