The pair came across each other when they met on the set of Ashley’s movie, ‘Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.’ During the course of that process, they actually played out a romance on screen. But ever since that moment, they have continued to remain friends.
And given that they had such a close connection throughout the years, it is understandable why, as a DNA test confirmed they were 10th cousins once removed via ancestry.
In her comments, Ashley said: “Austin and I always say that we’re like fraternal twins born very far apart ’cause he’s much younger and we’ve always had that connection. We’ve always said we were brother and sister! That is insane, I’m literally going to cry.”
The pair were so close in fact that Ashley was gutted that Austin was not there to see her pregnancy journey play out. She welcomed the arrival of her daughter Jupiter in 2021. In and amongst this, however, Austin had not been present in the area as he was away from home due to other commitments.
But even through those moments, Austin managed to keep a close bond by making sure that Ashley was fine during each step of the journey. Her following comments confirmed as much: “He even FaceTimed Jupiter in the hospital the morning after I had her.
“He’s one of my best friends and to see him with Juju is so special.” The fans on social media were equally delighted and shocked by the revelation. In the process of doing so, they expressed some warm words at the news. One person wrote: “Cute.”
This will only go on to reinforce their friendship, which can only be a good thing. And that is something that Ashley and Austin will not forget in a hurry. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
