For those in the LGBTQIA+ community, they have sat back and watched for decades how heterosexual couples have found the love of their life on dating shows. It has been pretty taboo for many networks to even talk about the queer culture, but now, from the producers of Real Housewives, we will soon see a dating show for the LGBTQIA+ community.

    Reality Television: The Queer-Founded Team

This new team called Ain’t That Something Entertainment is a queer-founded company that has worked on many network shows. They have worked on shows like the Real Housewives of Orange County and Beverly Hills, Below Deck Mediterranean, The Hills: New Beginnings, and Basketball Wives.

They have also sold shows to different channels such as TLC, Syfy, and MTV. Now this production team is setting out to do something that the LGBTQIA+ community has wanted for decades, a dating show of their own!

There is currently a casting call for the show and for those who are interested, the social media post reads, “Major production company and major cable network are casting LGBTQ+ single for an epic and never-been-done-before dating series. We are looking for dynamic, open-minded, outspoken members of the LGBTQ+ community who are single and ready to find love. Don’t miss out on the potential opportunity to be on this HISTORY MAKING SHOW.”

The company‘s founder, Matthew Solomon posted on his own Instagram about the casting call as well and he captioned it, “It’s time we find your soulmate!” He then added a rainbow emoji and a trans pride flag. There were many re-posts of the casting call as well. The Bravo House Wives Instagram also shared the casting call in hopes that they can help to entice applicants.

It is interesting to hear about this new show coming from the producers of the Real Housewives. As of right now, there is no word on which network will air the dating show,  but from the looks of it, the company is pushing it very hard.

Ain’t That Something’s Instagram page is filled with all sorts of casting calls. If you are trying to make your way onto a reality television show, this could be the way for you to do it. They have casting calls for Jewish singles and even party girls. It looks like this company is going to be busy casting shows this summer!

Be sure to keep an eye out for the new dating show coming to a network soon!
