Kanye West has justified his tendency to rant on social media as a way to cleanse himself.
Kanye West Justifies His Social Media Rants-‘I’m Not Going To Let You Guys Kill Me’
The rapper has recently been involved in a controversy surrounding his decision to wear a top with the words, ‘White Lives Matter.’ And as part of that process, he followed this up with some comments in which he stated that the Black Lives Matter movement was a ‘scam.’
This was in and amongst his public feud with ‘Adidas’ after Kanye alleged the company had taken his designs. But for all the backlash that may be coming Kanye’s way, he did not appear fazed by any of it.
In an interview on Tucker Carlson, he said: “If I raise my voice on Instagram, it’s a colonic and people can say ‘Oh this what you’re doing is toxic. I gotta do everything to get it out of my body and there will be times that I see a level of oppression and I’ll be like ‘I’m not going to let you guys kill me.”
Nevertheless, those comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt for the following reasons. First of all, whether Kanye likes it or not, he does have a young fan base out there. Therefore, he has to remain mindful over the consequences that can emerge from his actions influencing others.
Secondly, there is a danger that Kanye does cross the line with what is acceptable. And yet, the rapper doubled down on his beliefs by stating that he only does what is best to protect his family.
His following comments confirmed as much: “I have to act like a complete ass to have any say so on what my children do because of all the people who have control of all the children in the clan.”
It is fair to say that Kanye will continue to do what he thinks is best even if he does alienate some people in the process. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
