We knew it was going to happen from the time that Trisha Paytas announced her pregnancy and cringed the moment she announced her family channel. It seems that Trisha has attracted some Mommy Shamers online with her latest IG posting showing off the stroller and car seat set that she got.
Some user told her that that particular car seat was not approved for travel in US Vehicles and they were unable to bring their own baby home from the NICU in it. Trisha quickly corrected them saying that she was not going to use that particular car seat for travel in her car – that should have solved things, right?
Trisha Paytas vs. the Mommy Shamers
Apparently not, because in her initial post she had asked “Should we try and put it in the car?” but then they had both quickly realized that the car seat didn’t come with a base and therefore could not be put inside the car.
What had happened was the stroller just had just come as part of a set and Trisha posted the entire thing with that question not realizing that it was meant for European vehicles. Honestly, that’s a mistake any first time Mom could have made, most just would not have made it so publicly, but since Trisha is a public figure, she got shamed.
Trisha has come out and spoken out against family channels before, saying that she never likes it when the vlogs turn into videos that are just about the kids. Now it’s time for her to kind of get a taste of her own medicine in that regard because people are coming out and saying that she should know better about these things, but we do have to realize at some point that it’s Trisha Paytas, she’s going to screw up.
She’s far from perfect, thankfully she has hubby Moses Hacmon there to sort of keep her in check if things start to get too out of control. Most of the time Trisha’s fans just kind of act like Moses is a non-entity, but he’s her husband and the father to her child, so he’s just as responsible for this kid as she is. It’s both their jobs to raise this child. We just hope that maybe they fit a few parenting classes in there. Stay tuned!!!
