‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that since Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) kissed him in the middle of the podcast booth, things have been a little tense for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). He has been dating Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for a while now, and we are all genuinely surprised that it has lasted this long. They are still managing to maintain order, though!

I think that kiss is eating Billy up inside and he is going to do something drastic to try to take his mind off that moment, and it may be a little unconventional. While some fans may find them boring, it’s interesting to see a couple last as long as they have without anything terrible happening to either of them.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) Ask Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) To Marry Him?

Lily and Billy have been truly wonderful together, so let’s not lie just because you hate Billy or think they are boring. They have managed to complement each other incredibly well despite the fact that she is much more planned and organized than Billy is impromptu and spontaneous. The only thing I would add is that, in my opinion, Billy benefits from the relationship more than Lily does.

Even though Lily seems to genuinely care about Billy and has put up with his antics for so long, I believe Billy benefits more from Lily keeping him in check and on the straight and narrow than Lily gains in return.

Fans are giving off contradictory signals about Billy and Lily, but they won’t let that stop them from having Billy pop the question to Lily! Will this help Billy forget Chelsea or help him forget that particular moment? Not at all, but if he conveys to Lily that he is sincere, it will convey the same to everyone else.

What do you think? Will Billy ask Lily to marry him and will it be for the right reasons or is he just trying to get Chelsea out of his head? Let us know in the comments below.
