‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) finally broke the news to their son Billy that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is in fact, his birth mother.
Chelsea is excited that he’ll finally know. Billy explains that once a decision was made, there was no reason to wait, but he cautions her that he may react unexpectedly. This will be a huge change for Johnny because he is attached to his family and enjoys his routine. It will be a good step for them all, according to Chelsea. Billy hopes she is accurate.

Billy and Victoria watch Johnny play soccer in the park and remark that there is never a good time to do something like this. He reassures her that she will always love the boy. Before telling him, Victoria requests an additional minute. Billy has regrets, but one of them is not that Johnny entered their lives. Victoria breaks down when they talk about him as a baby.
Johnny did not take the news the best and was shocked that seemingly everyone knew the truth about it except for him. He’s worried that something is going to change but Billy and Victoria believed it was a good time to tell him. Johnny gets upset and runs off.
While Victoria thinks she’s done something horrible and Johnny will never be able to recover, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t think it’s that big of a deal. While it may be a shock right now, I think Johnny is going to be just fine and in the long run, as with every storyline, it will become no big deal.
