Harry Styles' Mother Defends Her Son's Movie 'Don’t Worry Darling'-'If You Can’t Say Something Nice, Don’t Say Anything'

Anne Twist, the mother of Harry Styles, has defended her son amid the antics surrounding his current film, ‘Don’t Worry Darling.’

The film has generated a lot of talking points, and that was prior to it being released. Initial reports emerged that Harry may have spat on the film’s co-star Chris Pine. While both sides denied that anything of the sort had happened, that was not the only source of concern.

The film’s director and Harry’s girlfriend, Olivia Wilde, was involved in another controversy surrounding Shia LaBeouf and Florence Pugh. Following claims that Shia and Florence did not get on, Olivia alleged that she had fired him which was then clarified by her comments that Shia gave her an ultimatum between him and Florence.

This is despite the fact that Shia denied he had been fired. And with so much controversy surrounding the movie, Anne wanted to set things straight and tell everyone that she loved the movie.

In her comments, she said: “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. I’m astounded and saddened by the vitriolic comments on here to be honest. I enjoyed a film. If it’s not your cup of tea don’t go…If you don’t like me .. please don’t follow me. Simple.”

Although Anne may have enjoyed the film, it has not gone down well with the critics. It achieved just 2 out of 5 stars on Rotten Tomatoes with a 35 percent rating on the Tomatometer.

It was not surprising that the fans on social media did not have a positive view about the film. And as a result, the comments were very brutal indeed. One person wrote: “Tell your son to learn acting before bashing the professionals.”

The movie may not have been received well, but Anne will continue to support her son until the end. And that is not going to change regardless of what others say. So there you have it folks.
