According to reports, the protestors allegedly came outside his concert in Boston on Sunday, 18th September 2022. And given that Lil Nas identifies himself as gay, that could have been the source of contention.

But rather than getting involved in a back-and-forth with them, the rapper decided to do the next best thing by sending them some pizza. In the video here, we can see that a member of Lil Nas’ entourage has arrived with some pizza for the crowd.

It is clear from the signs that they are serious about their preaching. One sign said the following: “Repent and Believe the Gospel.” The video instantly went viral and allegedly gained over a million views.

It is not exactly clear if the protesters were against Nas’ sexuality or his music, or if there was a combination of both. Regardless of what the case may be, it did generate a lot of talking points on social media. A certain subset of people were of the view that the protesters were out of order.

After all, it was everyone’s right to go to the concert. And if they did not agree with that, this did not give others the right to enforce their views onto others. Meanwhile, others felt that the protestors had the right to do what they wanted since it was part of freedom of speech.

One person wrote: “Just because many people believe in God and believe that homosexual sexual activity is an abomination to God, does not mean they are “homophobic” ! Most do not “hate” or “fear” homosexual people, which is the definition of the word !!!”

It is fair to say that Nas will continue to make the music that he wants to do, regardless of what others may have to say about it all. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
