‘The Bachelorette’: Fans Mock Rachel Recchia’s Dress-‘Rachel’s Red Dress Is The Dumbest Thing I Have Seen’
During the course of the previous episode, Rachel’s dress raised many talking points. In the picture here, we can see that she is wearing a red dress with huge, puffy sleeves as she poses next to a portrait. Her cleavage is on show, as the red colour makes that more prominent.
But rather than being an instant hit, the show’s stylist Cary Fetman had to come out and defend the look. This was on the grounds that a certain subset of people assumed that Cary was not a fan of Rachel, which may have been made apparent in the dress that he chose for her.
And yet, in his comments, Carey hit back at his critics with the following comments: “For all that think I hate her let’s just deal with this dress tonight.
“If you had the once in a lifetime chance to be the bachelorette; 1: would you choose having a blast with high fashion clothes that you’d probably never have a chance to wear again? Or 2: a sexy over the top black sequin dress or sexy silk? Vote 1 or 2?”
Despite Carey’s justification, the fans on social media were not convinced by the dress. In the process, they began to make derogatory remarks about it. One such example was seen in the following meme where Rachel’s head had been photoshopped to include an NFL helmet while she wore the dress.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Rachel reminding us the NFL season is only 24 days away with that dress.” Meanwhile, another user stated the following: “Rachel’s red dress is the dumbest thing I have seen in ages. She looks like a 90’s NFL player with those pads.”
It is fair to say that the dress did not go down very well, and that is not going to change anytime soon. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
