Josh Peck has reacted to his Nickelodeon friend Jeanette McCurdy’s memoir, “I’m Glad My Mom Died.”
Josh Peck Reacts To Jeanette McCurdy’s Memoir Detailing Her Controlling Mother-‘I Think She Is Incredibly Brave To Tell Her Story’
The title of the book suggests that Jeanette pulled no punches, and this is precisely the policy that she adopted when she recounted her experience with her mother. It is alleged that Jeanette’s mother was a very controlling figure, which is the reason why she was forced to become an actress as a child.
In addition, given that Jeanette’s mother ended up dying from cancer in 2013 when Jeanette was just 21, it was understandable that the star had a lot to get off her chest. And that is something which Josh praised her for doing knowing how difficult it must have been.
In an interview with Page Six magazine, Josh said: “I think she is incredibly brave to tell her story and to be as honest as she is. I think one of her great talents is her wit and how thoughtful she is and as soon as I was able to pick up the book I did because I really wanted to see the way she told her story.”
And Josh’s words were very sincere, especially since he was behind her once the book was released. In the picture here, we can see that Jeanette and Josh are hugging each other. They have massive smiles on their faces and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “My friend Jennette wrote a book and it’s out today. She’s brave, funny and thoughtful in ways few are. Get it today!”
Much in the same way, the fans on social media came out to support the book. In the process of doing so, people were looking forward to hearing her story. One person wrote: “I pre-ordered a signed copy cause I love her so much. Can’t wait for it to get here.”
