In the Duggar familly, Amy King has always been seen as the black sheep in the family. The famous cousin wasn’t on the show for long, but she does her best to try and remain relevant in the world of reality television. She doesn’t approve of her family’s religion, but she remains tight with some of her cousins. Jill Dillard is one of them.
The Duggars: Amy Attends Baby Shower
With the news that Jill is expecting another baby, of course there has to be a baby shower. Amy attended the shower with her mother-in-law Cathy Dillard Byrum, Deena Dillard, and Deanna Duggar just to name a few. Amy wanted to share some of the best parts with her fans are added some photos on her Instagram account this past weekend.
The Duggars: Amy King Shares All the Details on Jill Dillard’s Baby Shower
Amy captioned the photos, “It was an honor to host your baby shower, Jill!! You are beautiful inside and out and deserved to be loved on.” The theme of the shower was “Grow Baby Grow” and there were wildflowers all over the home. Fans loved the theme and Jill looked so happy and glowing with child. Jill ended up sharing a lot of the photos from the shower on her Facebook page as well.
Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard have two sons already, Israel and Samuel. They suffered from a miscarriage last year and this hit them really hard. They made the announcement in February that they were expecting another baby boy and it looks like they should have him sometime in the next month.
Jill told her fans, “I feel so loved and more prepared now for baby boy with all the gifts, prayers & blessings by friends and family (+several who couldn’t attend the party in person) who showered us this weekend in anticipation of our little man’s arrival next month.”
There hasn’t been a lot of word on who attended the baby shower, but fans were shocked to see that Michelle Duggar was not in attendance. Another shock was that none of Jill’s sisters were there either. This all seems a little odd since many of us thought that they were all pretty close. There could be some bad blood between them since Jill and Derick have been very open about their feelings on her brother, Josh Duggar, getting 12 years in prison for possession of child pornograpy.
