Bear, for his part, happens to be 11-years-old. Therefore, there would have been an expectation on him to be able to sleep independently from his mother, now that he is on the cusp of approaching his teenage years. And yet, it seems that Bear still has an attachment to his mother which has to be sorted at some point.
But rather than worry about the backlash that she may get, Alicia could not care what others had to say about it all. During an interview on the “The Ellen Fisher Podcast”, Alicia said: “I don’t really care.”
And by the looks of it, Alicia stood by her word. She expanded on how she managed to potty train Bear which, by all accounts, was a lot easier than others may have thought. However, she did have to use some unconventional tactics to say the least in order to make sure that it got done.
She added: “There was a period of time where I was watching him naked and watching the cues. The cues part for me was really fun because I thought that he was flirting with me because he would do this little smile. That’s when he had to pee.”
It is not surprising, then, that the fans on social media had a lot to say on Alicia’s parenting. A certain subset of people were of the view that she was failing in her parental duties to raise a child in a manner that was deemed appropriate.
Meanwhile, others felt that her behaviour was rather bizarre. One person wrote: “Why does she insist on telling us stuff we don’t wanna know,” while another person stated: “Creepy.”
