Shanna Moakler has sold her engagement ring that she had gotten from her ex-husband Travis Barker.
Shanna Moakler Sells Her Engagement Ring From Her Ex Travis Barker For $96,500-‘It Was A Smooth And Easy Process’
Shanna made the decision to sell engagement ring shortly after Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker had gotten married. She admitted that this period in her life was closed, which is why it made no sense for her to keep the ring. With that being said, she was looking to get rid of it as soon as possible.
And by the looks of it, Shanna has gotten a decent amount of money for it. The ring had sold for 96,500 via Worthy.com, which was short of her expectations as Shanna was hoping to receive at least $100,000. And yet, she was happy to see it go.
In an interview with Us Weekly, she said: “I wanted to thank worthy.com for making the most out of a beautiful time in my life. I hope the highest bidder truly loves the piece as much as I did. It was a smooth and easy process … Looking forward to the future!”
Now that the ring has gone, Shanna wanted to make clear up her intentions for doing this. The timing of the sale was questioned, as she had decided to auction it off following Travis’ wedding.
And yet, she had split up from Travis for some time which is why people could not understand her reason for holding onto the ring for so long. After all, was she hoping for a reconciliation?
Despite those claims, Shanna simply wanted the ring in the right hands. She added: “I’m sure people would assume that [it’s related to the wedding], but I simply wanted to find a proper seller and Worthy.com is the most professional and I know will give this piece the attention it deserves.”
