Survivor 42 spoilers find that viewers were left scratching their heads at the un-played immunity idol in Lindsay Dolashewich’s pocket that could have saved her ally Omar Zaheer.

Even worse, though, was Omar’s very own secret advantage he didn’t get to use. So secretive, in fact, that no one watching at home knew a thing about it!

That’s right! After becoming the latest castaway on the receiving end of a blindside, King Pin (until he wasn’t), Omar has opened up and revealed he had advantage he was 100% planning to play.

Before he had the chance, though, the “Survivor Confident” strategist was sent home by the two bottom-dwellers, one of who just might have added enough to her resume to make it to the final three.

Survivor 42 Spoilers: The Un-played Advantages- Including One We Didn’t See!

Can Maryanne Oketch take the entire season, making it two from two for the Canadian ladies? Well, that will be revealed next week.

Revealed this week was that Omar’s ousting could have totally been avoided if Lindsay had not wasted her idol, playing it for him instead.

Sure, Lindsay had her reasons- she was completely safe after winning immunity, and if the idol was played, a new one would immediately go into circulation. Omar also later revealed that during a conversation off camera, Lindsay explained how the idol, being all spesh thanks to the Captain Planet-esque 3 way elements to it, she couldn’t just gift the idol to Omar pre-Tribal Council.

Any playing of that specific idol would have to have been done in front of the entire tribe and jury, thus cementing Lindsay and Omar’s alliance while perhaps upsetting others who may have believed they were Lindsay’s numero uno.

The one thing Lindsay forgot- this is Survivor, and an idol souvenir is not exactly what you are hoping is the only thing you’ll take home from the game. USE YOUR IDOLS, PEOPLE!!!!

But back to Omar and the IMMUNITY IDOL NULLIFIER he had in his pocket! Say what? Are you confused? Can’t remember ever seeing Omar procure that hardware?

That’s because it never made it to air. As Omar explained, the nullifier was discovered when he and Johnathan Young were collecting water. Omar claims it is the first and only time he was (physically) quicker than Johnathan and Omar became the proud owner of the advantage.

Johnathan, of course, knew about the advantage (he was there to witness Omar’s find…unlike the rest of us) and eventually Omar told Lindsay, making Johnathan mistrust Omar who lied about not telling anyone else.

    Whoops.

Omar says he was planning to use the nullifier on Mike’s idol, which would have been even more devastating to Mike after Omar helped save it from Drea Wheeler’s clutches. Now that would have been some entertaining TV!

Of course, in his position at the top of the pyramid, Omar didn’t see bottom-rung Maryanne coming for him and the nullifier became, well, null and void, hence it being edited out of the show all together.

It makes us wonder, though, what else we are missing. Anyone else out there totally down for a Big Brother style “Survivor After Dark” show? Heck, we can keep that going at Ponderosa too, thanks!

Okay, we may be a little obsessed.

Don’t miss the Survivor 42 finale, Wednesday, May 25 at 8pm EST on CBS.
