The pair, for their part, sent shockwaves around the internet when they decided to get married after only a period of dating for 1-month. Naturally, it was not a surprise that the pair split up two months after, as it was clear that they had rushed into things.
And given that everything had happened so fast, Meghan was sure that the stars were aligned. In an interview on the SiriusXM “Jeff Lewis Live show, she said: “He said all the right things and I and the families were a good, good fit.
“And he seemed to grow up similarly to me and it was almost like an arranged marriage. I felt like, except we chose one another.” Nevertheless, the former ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star has not publicly addressed the reasons as to why she decided to break up with him.
As of now, sources have stated that she felt “rattled.” Although that is not enough in and of itself to speculate on what the reasoning was, one thing for sure is that there must have been irreconcilable differences. And outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, this may have been due to the following reasons.
First of all, perhaps the pair had different priorities. After all, Cuffe is the nephew to none other than President Joe Biden himself. Secondly, there may also have been question marks over whether or not the pair wanted to start a family. But once the annulment is finalised, then we may see Meghan open up more.
The response on social media was not one of surprise. People agreed that things had simply happened too fast, and the writing was on the wall from the outset. One person wrote: “It’s almost like you should know someone more than 5 weeks before you marry them.”
