When Kim Menzies’ son, Jamal appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell-All episode, he really won some fans. She has gotten a lot of criticism for how strong she came on with Usman Umar, but she had told viewers and cast members that she came on strong because she went after what she wanted and she got it.
As a woman in her 50s, she doesn’t have time to beat around the bush, and many people appreciate that about her. She is blunt and knows what she wants. That being said, when Jamal came on the stage and was asked some pressing questions by Shaun Robinson, he really gained a lot of respect from viewers.

Jamal was only on the show for a brief moment when his mother called him to ask for his blessing. He has been open about how he thinks it is weird that Kim is dating a man that is young enough to be her son. He just wishes that she would date someone her own age instead of his. Kim just wants Jamal to approve and she doesn’t want to disappoint him.

As soon as the Tell-All aired, Redditers were quick to start about Jamal. It was praise from all over. One Redditer wrote, “100% Thirstpoing for Kimberly’s son Jamal here. I was not expecting that…wew!” Another wrote, “Yeah, he’s gorgeous. I love how he carried himself too.”
These Redditers also pointed out how Jamal wished his mom would date someone in her age group. One wrote, “I’ve wondered and asked the same thing about Ben and his 22-year-old daughter. How would he feel if a 52-year-old man was chasing her relentlessly?”
Jamal’s good looks and rational answers to Shaun’s questions were just part of why viewers have fallen for him. One Redditer commented, “I think he carries himself very well and has an even keel even when checking Usman. Add to that his support for his mom AND fashion sense, well he checks a lot of boxes.” One more added, “YES! He is super fine! And seemingly so calm and mature. The only downside is Kim would be your mother-in-law.”
