Viewers of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days have been curious about Ben Rathbun and his relationship with Mahogany Roca. The 52-year-old fell in love with her and she is only 22-years old. He flew out to Peru to meet her and she stood him up. She texted him as he was getting on his plane and told him not to come because of her father.
Many viewers think that she is a catfish and that she will never meet him, but there are others who think she is real. Viewers have started to dig up more information on Ben and now it looks as if he has posted quite a few videos on social media that may show us more of him than we thought possible.

The YouTuber, The Celeb Talk Guy, recently posted a video of Ben from before the show began and in it, Ben said, “One of my fitness pictures got posted…not posted…put into a men’s magazine. From there a couple of producers got a hold of me and said, ‘Hey, how would you like to be on a reality TV show?’ I said, ‘yeah, maybe’. I mean, if it’s fun and there’s a free trip involved. I’m out. I got kids. They’re gonna see that. I’m not gonna go on an island and be part of that craziness.”
Is this video proof that Ben and Mahogany‘s relationship is completely fake? In the video, he says that he was contacted by producers, so it looks as if TLC put this story in as complete filler. This video admits that their relationship is fake and that the producers are pushing him to continue on with this storyline. After being asked about the video, Ben tried to backtrack and said that real life is “sometimes humiliating and embarrassing and sometimes inspiring.”
The digging has gone deeper on Ben and it does look like he is a trained actor and has appeared in a musical of Disney’s Tarzan and he had made extra appearances on some shows. It does look as if Ben was cast to be on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days and goes to show us that TLC may, indeed, be scripting these shows.
