True Crime: Chris Watts’ Texts Revealed – Mistress Shows The Final Text He Sent Her After Murdering His Family

In the tragic story of the Watts family, Chris Watts was found guilty of killing his wife and two young daughters. Watts, who was living in Denver, Colorado with his wife Shanann and his two children, was also having an affair with a woman named Nicol Kessinger.

Watts killed his family then ended up stashing them away in an oil field, where police later found them. He claimed that he didn’t know where they were and even tried to help the police search for them. He told the press that all he wanted was his family to come home to him. Things started to look fishy and the police started to investigate him as the main suspect.

When police started to notice his strange behavior, they decided to question him. He was trying to cover his tracts and he even reached out to Nichol to tell her that he was worried about his family and had nothing to do with their deaths. Keep in mind, she thought he had left Shannan up until the news came out that his family was missing.

A recent YouTube video leaked a police interview that Nichol did with them and in it, we heard a lot of details about their affair. The video is about three hours long, but she did give away some key information that seems eery now that he is behind bars for the murders of his entire family.

In the video, she told police, “There were several discussions that we had about his current relationship and where it had gone. He talked about his kids from time to time. But the thing was that he was never hostile. It was never anything aggressive. It was still very kind. He was just like, ‘This is not working.’ It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary or anything that would scare me. Even to this day, even after everything that I’ve found out, I still look back at that, and I don’t see any red lights about the way he spoke about his family.”

According to her friends and family, Shannan had seen a lot of red flags and this could have been part of the reason that he decided to kill her. She reached out to her friends constantly about him and she was very concerned about her marriage. Watts ended the lives of his wife and daughters on August 13, 2018. He strangled Shannan in their home and then took her body to an oil field where he worked. He buried her body then smothered his daughters and put their bodies in oil tanks.

A friend of Shannan’s called the police to do a wellness check on the home and Chris told them he had no clue where his family was. This seemed suspicious because of the way he was acting and the camera footage from the neighbors.

Watts is serving five consecutive life sentences. He is in the Dodge Correctional Institute in Waupun, Wisconsin. He is never eligible for parole.
