‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers is gearing up for its 35th anniversary on March 23 by asking some of its biggest stars what they believe was their character’s boldest (or craziest) moment over the past 35 years!
Starting with recent returnee, Deacon Sharpe, Portrayer Sean Kanan pinpointed his boldest storyline very easily!
“The craziest thing my character’s ever done?” he asked on the soap’s Instagram page. “That’s pretty easy…I had a baby with my mother-in-law, Brooke[Logan].” However, Sean doesn’t think anyone should blame Deacon for his (massive) faux pas, adding “In my defense- I mean, have you seen her?”
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Stars Reflect On Their Characters’ Boldest Moments
While we think Bridget Forrester (last played by Ashley Jones) may beg to differ on the “no blame” part, we do agree with Sean that the Brooke and Deacon storyline (the first time) was pretty darn crazy!
Next up is Matthew Atkinson, speaking about the very obvious craziest storyline for his character, Thomas Forrester…and yes, it includes a romancing a mannequin who “started, like, telling him to do evil things”. After reiterating the twisted storyline, Matthew summed it all up by simply saying, “So…demons!”
Rena Sofer’s ‘bold moment’ came from way back in 2016, when ‘Adam and Eve’ ruled the world…or at least the cabin the woods. As Rena explains, it was a mother’s love that drove her character, Quinn Forrester to kidnap an amnesiac Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and sequester him away in a cabin in the woods. With Liam out of the picture, Quinn’s son, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) could marry Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Unfortunately, Wyatt wasn’t so down with Quinn’s evil plot and foiled it all for her once he discovered what she was doing.
Yep, Bold…and crazy!
Quinn’s baby-daddy, Bill Spencer is up next and portrayer, Don Diamont had a hard time scrolling through a long laundry list of ‘Dollar’ Bill’s misdeeds. Finally, Diamont landed on the should-have-been-fatal dumping of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) out of a helicopter in the waters off the coast of Dubai.
While it wasn’t physically Bill who did the ‘dumping’, he orchestrated his ‘henchman’ Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) to do the dirty work. “So that was pretty crazy,” Diamont added, “but there are so many [crazy moments]. So many.”
With a few days left before the anniversary, we are sure to hear more whacked out plots our favorite characters have lived- watch this space for more walks down (crazy) memory lane…and watch CBS on weekdays for the upcoming (crazy?) storylines!
