Recently, while filming her Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building”, Selena Gomez was hounded by Papparrazzi as she was leaving the set and getting into a car. The photographer tried to get her attention and when they did, Selena simply sang out, “I hate the papparrazzi!” to which the photographer told her to have a good day and Selena, even though she was put upon by the guy’s presence, simply wished him the same.
When the video was posted one social media user talked about how last year, the paps were after Selena so bad that it caused her to have a panic attack. They called her a “sweet angel”.

Lots of users were wholeheartedly concerned about the star’s mental health, especially since last year a paps decided to bodyshame her on the set of her show – for what reason we have no idea but that’s what happened. Selena often uses her platform to speak out about the importance of mental health, so when this video was posted a lot of people came for that photographer saying that they should not have been there.
Yet another user said that Selena was done with the paps ever since the bodyshaming incident, and we can’t really say that we can blame her for it. If someone walked up and started insulting you while you were at work, it’s not something anyone would take lying down.
Yet another user posted about a time previously in which Selena simply told a slew of paps, “Can I have the rest of the day?” because they had literally been hounding her for photos all day. We get it, the girl is tired and filming and directing a series is hard work, so she doesn’t want to be bothered when she’s simply walking to and from a car off the set.
The person who actually posted the video was not a paps though, it was a regular social media user, but the paps was standing by ready to snap. One does wonder though, since the invention of camera phones and social media, if the paps game is as well-paid as it used to be. Stay tuned!!!
