Jeffree Star reviewed a face mask that was modeled after oscar mayer balogna, even down to the packaging. This time he wasn’t in his Wyoming Ranch, or even in his California home, rather he was in Nashville Tennessee, in a hotel room, racing against the sunlight to get a proper review for this one product – which is now sold out on amazon according to Jeffree.
(Amazon was down when we tried our search, however it can be located on eBay for those willing to risk eBay for cosmetics. Ahem.)
Jeffree Star puts the balogna on its skin
Was the product Jeffree Star approved? Not in so many words, simply because Jeffree said that the product cause some irritation and caused some redness. When he showed an up-close of the underside of the product it looked like there was a lot of soap on the mask itself, and Jeffree said that there was fragrance added which sometimes people’s skin can be irritated by.
He did however say that the scent provided was “skin care” and it didn’t actually smell like real balogna, he said if it had the video would have been over before it even began.
He and his assistant even answered the door in their masks, but even his assistant wasn’t sold on the formula. Later when they stripped off the facemask they threw it against the hotel balcony’s sliding glass door and it stuck and left a residue causing it to stick and slide down in a very balogna-like fashion.
Jeffree said that in the 90’s it was pretty popular for people to put lunchmeat on their faces (I was alive and fully conscious for the 90’s and do not remember this trend), he said he wondered what happened to that.
But perhaps that was just popular at Jeffree’s school because he said there was one kid in his middle school that used to run around with balogna on his face that made Jeffree laugh. You often wonder what happens to people like that and what they grow up to be – obviously not influencers like Jeffree Star.
What was Jeffree doing in Nashville? We honestly don’t know, he didn’t say, but he said he was going to enjoy the place… we’ll keep an eye out for anything Nashville related having to do with Jeffree Star. Stay tuned!!!
