’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that Julia Trubkina Gibb, wife of Brandon Gibb, is Russian, from the city of Krasnodar. Just a little less than a day ago, the normally light-hearted Julia took to instagram to say her piece on the war in Ukraine.
She said that she hoped it would be the last time she would have to speak about it, implying that over the last couple of days she has had a lot of questions about the invasion and probably a lot of questions about just where her political alliances lie.

Those questions may have been fueled by her previous picture of her and Brandon flying both the American and Russian flags, even though the caption was meant to imply that the political relations between America and Russia aren’t the best, but let’s face it captions aren’t the first thing one reads when one scrolls through facebook.
Instead Julia decided to make a post addressing her feelings on the matter and we’re glad that she did. It clears up a lot of things. For one, she says that none of her friends or family or anyone that she knows back in Russia support this war and that no one wanted it.
She went onto say, “We do not support all politics.” which is good to know. Getting an opinion straight from the horse’s mouth is always good and knowing that Julia is on the side of sanity is quite the relief. Although, one has to wonder if her being friends with Yara Zaya also of 90 day fiancé colored the situation any or just made a sentiment that was already there stronger.
That being said, Julia may be Russian by birth but sending her hate over on instagram really isn’t going to do anything.
She is not a political figure, never has been, never will be, and laying into her about a political issue that she does not support and is thousands of miles away from and does not have anything to do with won’t really do anything except make a keyboard warrior feel good for about 5 minutes. It won’t help anyone on Ukraine’s side, so it would do good for us social media followers to realize that. Stay tuned!!!
