’90 Day FiancĂ©’ Spoilers indicate that Brandon Gibbs shocked his parents, Betty and Ron Gibbs when he brought home his fiance last season, a young Russian girl from Krasnodar named Julia who was a go-go dancer. Of course Betty clutched every last pearl she had but since Brandon was 27 years old there wasn’t much she could do about it besides be a thorn in their proverbial sides and boy howdy was she!
The fandom watched as Betty attempted to dictate everything in her son’s life to do with his new fiance. However, in spite of her best efforts Brandon and Julia stayed together and they ended up getting married.
’90 Day FiancĂ©’ Spoilers: Julia Trubkina Gibbs wants to be on Dancing with the Stars?
Now she wants to channel a little bit of the star power that she’s earned from her stint on 90 day into a possible stint on Dancing with the Stars! Since go-go dancing really isn’t a thing here in the US. Last season on Happily Ever After she auditioned as a fitness instructor at a local gym but didn’t get the job.
She wanted to eventually become a wedding planner but as it turns out she didn’t quite have the connections to start such a business venture. Nor does she really have the personality for it either, she seems to actively dislike other women, or maybe that’s just any who know Brandon. So doing a competition show actually seems like a good idea.
On DWTS, Julia’s nasty attitude would just be seen as part of the competition. You aren’t expected to like someone you’re actively competing against, so her jabs at other women would just be taken as being a fierce competitor.
Though her skill level might be called into question simply because Julia is a self-taught dancer and while she claims to be able to do many styles of dance, from break-dancing to pole dancing (ahem), she has never trained professionally and ballroom is a totally different ballgame. That being said she could probably pick it up pretty quickly, if she were willing.
Most recently she left a comment on Alan Bersten’s instagram page asking about the casting process but so far she hasn’t received a reply for that yet. So far that is a very well-kept secret, how anyone gets chosen for DWTS but so far none of the 90 day alums have gotten on there and it might have something to do with their 90 day contracts, not entirely sure on the legal logistics of that but it sounds plausible.
So will Julia wind up on DWTS? We’ll see. Either that or TLC will have its own dancing show and we’ll get to see that on Discovery Plus. Maybe we shouldn’t put such things out into the universe but hey, it could happen. Stay tuned!!!
