The news of the divorce of 90 Day Fiancé couple Mark and Nikki Shoemaker hit social media just a few days ago. The couple was married for over six years and they pretty much vanished from the world after they appeared on the show. They did try to sue TLC for the way that they were represented on the show, but a judge ended up throwing their case out.
The couple had a 39-year age difference and this may have been the biggest one on the series. This relationship made many viewers uncomfortable because of how young Nikki was when she met Mark. There has been complete silence between her and Mark on social media since their season of the show ended. Mark is the one who broke the silence about the divorce.
Mark filed for divorce from Nikki on March 12 at the Baltimore County Circuit Court. From what the internet sleuths have found, there was also a prenup. These sleuths also started to look further into the divorce and found that there is a section on the documents that read “grounds for divorce” and that is when Mark wrote, “Adultery- my spouse committed adultery.” There is another section of the paperwork that read, “For these reasons, I request an absolute divorce.” Mark has told fans that this divorce will involve “mutual consent” and Nikki has signed as well.
The couple never had children, which is probably a good thing, and now fans are curious what Nikki did or if Mark is just making this up. Some fans don’t trust him, but there are other fans that don’t trust her. No matter what, it looks like they are getting divorced and it is happening soon.
