Ah, the year was 2021, the pandemic was in full-swing, and the internet was swirling with rumors that Chris Evans was dating Selena Gomez due to some highly suspicious pictorial and video evidence spotted over on instagram by some fans.
But now, even if Sel and Chris were secretly having a romance, it looks like it may be over because now fans are saying that Evans is dating Warrior Nun star Alba Batista. He started following her instagram back in 2020, but she didn’t follow him back on IG until the summer of 2021. (Took her long enough.)
Who is Chris Evans dating anyway?
It was thought that the two met last year in Europe while Alba was busy filming the second season of Warrior Nun and Evans was filming the movie “The Gray Man”. It’s also been observed that she is following Chris’s brother on instagram, as well as Chris’s brother’s partner, and their dog!
Batisa also spent New Year’s Eve in LA, and allegedly some pictures that she shared were taken in Evans’ back yard… well then! Either way, it’s just speculation, neither one has come out and said pubicly whether they are dating anyone or not. However a few fans are certainly not having this news.
“Chris Evans is mine and mine only!” ranted one fan in Alba’s IG comments. “Did you marry my husband?” asked yet another. Right now, we’re pretty sure that both Evans and Batista only belong to themselves so everyone can chill out and leave the poor girl alone.
So far, Evans has not received any of the hateful comments that she has received about his potential relationship, which is a bit of a double-standard if you ask us. Certainly there must be some fans out there outraged that he has potentially snapped up Alba off the market.
You would think that by now we would know better, since the whole 2020 Lizzo incident in which she trolled the entire internet by saying that she and Chris were having ‘a little America’. I don’t know about any of you guys, but I still ship it, oh well, maybe in a perfect world. Stay tuned!!!
