There are concerns that Queen Elizabeth II has not slowed down in her duties, despite having tested positive for Covid-19.
Royal Expert Feels Queen Elizabeth II Should Have ‘A Complete Rest, And Leave The Duties To Others’ Following Her Positive Covid Test
That is according to Royal expert Robert Jobson. Reports indicate that the Queen has been suffering from mild symptoms, following her positive test.
While that may be the case, this has not stopped her from continuing to carry out her Royal duties. So much so that there are concerns she may be taking on too much in light of the fact that she has been having health issues of late.
And yet, the Queen has been praised for putting the nation first prior to her own health. In a statement to the Mirror, Robert said: “The Queen has been the perfect role model throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“The palace has assured us that there is no need for panic, with their statement talking of ‘mild cold like’ symptoms.” Nevertheless, there is a feeling that the Queen should be taking things easy.
First of all, during a recent appearance in order to discuss defence duties, the Queen was visibly not in good condition. After all, she admitted that she was struggling to walk, indicating that her mobility was not in the best condition.
In a statement at the time, she remarked: “Well, as you can see, I can’t move.” Secondly, with the onset of her Platinum Jubilee this year in order to celebrate her being 70 years in charge, she could be forgiven for wanting to take things slow.
Robert added: “I really think given her great age, that she should have a complete rest, and leave the duties to others in her family.
“There is no doubt The Prince of Wales and his family will be concerned by this development.” Ultimately, the monarch knows what she is capable of doing.
And if she feels she can undertake Royal duties, then that should be borne in mind. After all, she has done it for around 70 decades. Until she is told otherwise, the Queen will continue to act in the interests of the nation.
