We know awhile back there was talk of Oprah Winfrey possibly getting The Big Interview with Britney Spears post-conservatorship, but now it seems that Oprah, due to whatever reason, is out of the running. Why?
Well, the answer may lie in the fact that now Britney has someone on her team who was formerly involved with Michael Jackson… and we all know how Oprah was involved in the “Finding Neverland” documentary that said a lot of less-than-savory things about the late King of Pop.
Piers Morgan May Be The One Who Gets Britney Spears For A Full Interview!
So now, Oprah is definitely out of the running, but some have posed that this may put Piers Morgan in the running to get Britney’s post-conservatorship interview. Let’s unpack that, shall we?
Piers Morgan is a controversial figure in his own right and was fired from CNN shortly after making derogatory comments about Meghan Markle after her Oprah Winfrey interview aired. He didn’t like that she was outing certain members of the royal family for apparent racism – even though she never actually named names, her nor Harry. After getting a lot of backlashes, Morgan left his job at CNN.
Now, currently, it seems that Piers Morgan is just in consideration to get the interview, Britney herself has not confirmed nor denied anyone or any particular news outlet getting any sort of interview from her – so this is just speculation. However, since Morgan is so favorable towards the establishment, one wonders just how much sympathy he would have toward Britney Spears.
Granted, Britney is not a British subject and her acting in defiance of her Father would not offend any of his patriotic sensibilities, after all it wasn’t a case of outing anyone in government, it was a case of simply breaking free from monetary and personal issues.
However, Morgan is a Father, and that makes you wonder which side he would actually be on in this case. Would he be sympathetic towards Britney’s plight and just think that she was a young girl who got taken advantage of by an unscrupulous family, or would he play devil’s advocate and possibly pose his questions in a way that might victimize Britney again?
One would hope not, as she’s already been the victim of bad interviews before and is reluctant to give them due to profoundly bad experiences which no one can blame her for. Whomever Britney chooses, we’re here for it in the future and wish her only the best. Stay tuned!!!
