Recently, it was thought that Britney Spears squashed her beef with ex Justin Timberlake because she posted a performance clip of them together on her IG page and tagged him, along with Chris Kirkpatrick, another former member of N’Sync, but left out the three other members of the band, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. Out of the three, Lance Bass has been the most outspoken out of the three.
Apparently, last year before Britney herself spoke out in her testimony, Lance Bass was only in contact with her former manager, Larry Rudolph and according to a twitter account belonging to Lance Bass’s husband he said that that Rudolph was peddling lies to Bass, telling him that Britney was having severe mental issues and could barely function.

As a result, in an interview with ET, Lance told an interviewer that they needed to ‘trust the system’, meaning the people in place who were hurting Britney and “what do we really know” in regards to her condition. However, one should also know that Lance Bass is still currently friends with Britney’s sister, Jamie Lynn, and it’s unclear which side of the divide he actually stands on post conservatorship, so that could be why Britney left him out of the tagging.
Joey Fatone on the other hand has received backlash from fans for openly making fun of the movement, and has declined to speak about the FreeBritney movement in interviews when asked. It’s pretty clear that he is on the wrong side of the movement at the very least, even if he won’t actually speak on it.
As for JC Chasez, we don’t know of any sort of beef that Britney might possibly have with him, he hasn’t really said two words about the movement at all, so that has led some people to speculate that Britney may have just been tagging people who were actually in the video simply because she also tagged Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, and Mary J Blige, but still… it begs the question.
