Well, that’s something Prince Harry is taking into account these days as there’s a new report that says the Duke of Sussex is looking to patch things up with his father Prince Charles, despite the fact that both he and his wife Meghan Markle managed to throw the entire royal family under the bus in their epic interview with Oprah Winfrey last year. Apparently, Prince Harry wants to make peace with his father now that they are on much better terms than they were this time last year. The timing is quite interesting, seeing how next month Queen Elizabeth will become the first British monarch to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee.
Prince Harry Wants To Heal His Rift With His Father Prince Charles
There’s some speculation that Prince Harry might return to London for the festivities, which might be the reason why he wants to fix some of his relationships with a few members of his family.
One source close to the situation tells The Sun that Harry and Charles have been having secret talks lately. A source told the publication: “There has been a definite thaw in relations between Harry and Charles.
They are on much better terms and have been having friendly chats and video calls. It has been suggested to Harry he may live to regret any lingering family bitterness, and he has taken that on board.”
The insider also claimed: “There is a feeling he is coming back more into the fold and wants to be closer to his family.”
Now, whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but just this week Harry made it pretty clear that he won’t be returning to the UK unless he has his own security protection. Harry’s legal team said they had initiated the legal challenge in September of last year but decided to make that information public now “in order to set the facts straight.”
Harry says that he wants to bring his kids to visit from California, but he and his family are “unable to return to his home” because it is too dangerous.
