NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal there might be some serious trolling going on. From what we’ve heard since the introduction of this possession story, it will come to an end at Christmas. Well, Salem is now into the New Year, and it’s not over yet. Let’s talk what just happened and how we thought it was a moment of breaking the fourth wall.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Happy Ending?
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was possessed by the devil since around Halloween. Before that, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) was the unlucky victim of possession, bait to get to the devil’s real target.
Marlena ended up allowing a possession to save Doug. Now, we’ll admit we’ve gotten some laughs out of the snark MarDevil (Hall) delivered. However, we’ve seen a couple of weaknesses in the story. We can’t with how obvious the devil was through a lot of Marlena’s possession.
It made no sense, given the #Cin baby was so important to him. We also felt there were times where the devil was too weak in his behavior to be a real threat. Eventually, the demon was cast out of Marlena. It was a nice, neat ending that we felt was a good stopping point. Especially when they were able to work in some nostalgia throughout. But it ain’t over yet.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: He’s Back
On Friday, we learned it might not have been the best idea to have the whole family on hand to offer their love for the cause. It seems by doing so, they exposed another member of the family to demonic influence—Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). On New Year’s Eve, we learned Johnny is now the host for evil and we couldn’t help but get a kick out of the idea. Especially with the way it was presented. Let’s explain
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Super Trolling?
So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal this hasn’t been the most popular plot. In fact, there were a lot of fans who were ready to quit the show. At least, until this whole possession thing is over. We wonder if we saw a bit of a response in the latest twist reveal.
See, Johnny hadn’t been feeling well. However, when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) showed up to ring in the new year with them, Johnny insisted he could rally. He even insisted Chanel DuPree go with the others to get things started while he freshened up.
When we see Johnny next, he was wearing this crazy red suit. As we saw his eyes flash, he made a comment about not getting rid of him that easily. We’re personally getting a laugh out of it, and it seems the writers are as well. It’s clear this plot is here to stay until they’re ready to put it to rest for good.
