Now that Jamie Lynn has released her memoir “Things I should have said” and done an interview with Good Morning America, big sister Britney has taken to instagram to hint at possibly writing her own memoir! She posted a picture of a typewriter next to some roses along with the caption, “Shall I start from THE BEGINNING???” which got almost 200K likes.
Unfortunately the comments are filtered now so you can’t see them but if they werem’t you can be willing to bet that they would be on fire with fans wanting Britney to release her autobiography.
Britney Spears hints at writing own memoir?
If she did, she would have no shortage of people clamoring for her book. But one does wonder just how much she would reveal, even in an autobiography. Still, Britney has himted about wanting to tell her story lots of times but so far has not really expressed a desire to do it with a one-on-one interview, she did briefly back in 2021 but ever since then nothing was made of it.
No one has reached out to anyone in the press indicating that Britney would like to say anything to anyone in particular about anything, even though it was briefly speculated on last year that she might want a Meghan Markle-esque sit down style interview with Oprah, but so far Oprah’s people have heard nothing.
It was speculated that maybe Britney was just biding her time until all things legal had blown over to do with the conservatorship and that could very well be the case seeing as things aren’t quite over with yet in that department.
But if she decided to release a tell-all instead of doing an interview it might even be better because with an interview, someone else has the control, from the interviewer to the editor, but when you write a book you are essentially working alone.
Also, unlike in times past, all Britney would have to do would be release her autobiography via kindle, publishers might be clamoring for her story but self-publishing through jindle has kind of changed that now. Heck, she could even narrate her own audiobook if she wanted. We’ll just see what she does. Stay tuned!!!
