General Hospital spoilers for the week of January 10 reveal Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) continues to push Cassadine unity. Meanwhile, we’ll see TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) laying down the law while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) opens up to Laura Webber (Genie Francis). Let’s take a look at what’s ahead.
General Hospital spoilers: Manipulation
First off, we don’t know exactly what Victor’s ultimate plan is. However, it does seem he knows where to start when it comes to getting the family on his side. In the promo, Victor says family is forever. Of course, he just happens to be sitting with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) when he says this. We think Laura has every reason to worry about Spencer’ s debt of gratitude to grandpa. The tone in his voice is screaming manipulation and Spencer is ripe for some molding.
General Hospital spoilers: Patience is out
In other news, TJ was more than welcoming to Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett). He wanted to know the man who’d been absent for so long. However, it seems there’s a limit to TJ’s patience. In the promo, he informs Marshall he has to let them know who he is. We’re guessing all those unanswered questions are finally going to get to him as well. We wonder what Marshall might do specifically to make TJ take such a stance after being supportive.
Honestly, we think it’s about time. One doesn’t play dead for so long and get to rejoin their family without explaining oneself. It’s not fair to Curtis, or anyone else who was affected by Marshall’s decision. Who knows? Maybe TJ will finally be able to make Marshall see this.
General Hospital spoilers: Drama alert
Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers indicate lots of drama ahead. In the promo, we see Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth), then Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) walking in on Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as the voiceover says, “relationships will be tested”.
Given the look on Trina’s face, we’re not so sure she’s approving of what she sees. And honestly, we don’t blame her. We like the pairing, but with Portia obviously keeping a big secret from Curtis regarding Trian’s paternity? Well… this just looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
As for Brook Lynn, we think Austin is about to be a huge thorn in her side as she struggles to keep the baby scam a secret. Which is getting harder and harder by the day, given more people are now at least partly in the know. We wouldn’t be surprised if Austin is the next to find out. However, we also believe he’ll stay quiet when/if he learns it’s to help Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)
General Hospital spoilers: Corinthos drama continues
Finally, there’s the mess that is Sonny and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) union. This week, Sonny will open up to Laura, admitting he really screwed up this time. We’re hopeful that she’ll be understanding of his situation, unlike some others in this town. She’ll likely have some good advice for him, but we’re not sure even the best advice will help.
See, General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly is furious and out for blood. This week, she’ll warn Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to stay the hell away from her husband. Carly is losing more control each day, so it’s only a matter of time before she does actually retaliate. And we’re not sure how Sonny will feel about what she does.
