‘90 Day Fiancé’ always has its season villains and Luis Mendez was 100% that guy. Throughout season 5 we watched Luis be super disrespectful to fiancé turned wife, fan-favorite Molly Hopkins, and her two daughters.
Then, after the season was over we learned Luis was a more terrible human being than we thought.
It soon became apparent the Dominican Republic native very much committed the cardinal sin that most of the foreign fiancés are accused of by family friends at one stage or another- he used Molly for a green card so he could marry his real love, a woman who was thought to also be from the DR and living in the U.S. and needing Luis’ green card connection.

It seems, however, “real love” may not have been all it was cracked up to be. Though the split is almost as secretive as the marriage, many Molly fans and Luis haters believe Luis’ second wife finally came to the realization that Luis is a bad guy, too.
Luis laid somewhat low after his season of 90 Day Fiancé, surprising everyone when he showed up for the 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All. His ex, Molly had appeared on the show.
Again, Luis proved what a jerk he is and sashayed away with even more haters, yet it appears he loves the attention as he suddenly began to spring up on Instagram Live to answer “fan” questions.
One fan asked about his marriage, to which Luis responded, “Yo no tengo esposa. Yo soy soltero,” Translation: “I don’t have a wife. I’m single”
Later, an Instagram Story featuring Luis posing with his second wife had the words, “It’s over!” plastered over it.
There are questions over where Luis currently resides. He was living with wife #2 in New Jersey but it had been reported he was being deported back to the DR. Maybe that had something to do with the split?
Luis has not provided any further details at this time.
