‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) joined Maurice Benard on his podcast ‘State of Mind’ to talk about everything from divorce to acting. The two spoke for 45 minutes and explored several different topics.

James immediately opened up about how big of a fan he is of Benard, taking the initial opening in a different direction with Benard discussing the beginning of his career. Viewers loved the episode, commenting “Loving the series Maurice! You’re so down to Earth! Loving you & your guests! 
We are the World” ! Lol!”, “Loving this conversation, wish more people would talk so straight forward and hart felt as these two men”, “Awesome series!!! Maurice, I would love for you to interview the actors who played Los Hermanos De Vega from OLTL, & also Thorsten Kaye. God bless, Maurice!!! Keep rockin’ this!!”, “Wonderful interview especially where you say if someone’s gonna do it they will not to blame themselves your just wonderful moe this is your calling happy Sunday moe” and “Thank you Bryton for sharing this side of urself, and Maurice… just love the conversations with ur guests..it’s more of relaxing conversation with old friends.”
The two of them continued to swap stories about music, including James’ stories about Michael Jackson and his father working with several music artists. After the podcast, James took to Instagram to share his gratitude for being on the show, “Couldn’t be more honored to get to speak with one of my idols. Thank you so much @mauricebenard for having me apart of @mbstateofmind.”
