The world wants to know: “How you doin,” Wendy Williams? There’s a new report that says Wendy Williams’ reported ongoing health issues may keep her out of her daytime talk show until at least 2022.

As some sources say that her recovery is “taking longer” than expected, one tipster said “producers are already trying to line up guest hosts through December.” Here’s what you need to know.

What’s Going On With Wendy Williams? Recovery Taking Longer Than Expected, According To Sources

According to reports, Wendy Williams has been feeling very “lonely” and the fact that she won’t be back to work until at least 2022 has a lot of people concerned. However, the controversial talk show host did release a statement that suggested everything was fine on her end. Or at least, as fine as it can be right now.

“HOW YOU DOIN’? I MISS YOU ALL! As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic. I’m making progress but it’s just one of those things that’s taking longer than we expected,” her social-media statement began.

“I’m a woman of a certain age, and I know enough to listen to my doctors and will return to my purple chair as soon as we all agree I’m ready,” the 57-year-old continued. “I want to thank all of my staff and our guest hosts for stepping up and stepping in while I can’t be there.”

The Wendy Williams Show released a statement last month saying that she was dealing “with some ongoing health issues and is undergoing further evaluations.” If that weren’t enough, TMZ also reported that she was voluntarily hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation.  Her brother Thomas Williams, Jr. gave ET Online an update on his sister.

“I did speak with Wendy, she’s stabilized, she’s doing alright. You know, I can’t give all the blow by blows. I told her I’ll never proceed her voice through the show,” he said. “But I do thank you all for all the kind words, I really do believe and have the faith that Wendy’s going to make it.”
